Thanks!

This is probably misguided but I just wanted to say thanks. I've been looking for something like this for years that would be polished enough for my friends to use (they're a little technotarded). I'll be donating as well but just wanted to possibly brighten someone's day as they've brightened mine.

I can never express enough gratitude. Subsonic is truly a life altering project. Not only has it allowed me to expand my collection, but it's allowed me to bring it with me wherever I go. Subsonic was a major influence in my decision to get my 3G iPad. I stream on it a lot and I'm typing this post on it. Every time I have made a post on these forums, I've done it with Subsonic streaming in the background. 8). This is no exception.

Thank you Sindre for this revolutionary platform, and to Ben for iSub. :P

Cheers,
Kirk

What an excellent expression. I'll be borrowing that if you please...

I'll add to the thanks as I think this is a truly excellent product and have paid up for the subsonic.org function which makes my music experience complete. I've listened to music I haven't heard for years because of this product.

Can you let me know what iSub is like on the ipad as it is only an iphone app at present and was holding back from installing it on my wifes iPad. She is one of those technotards and subsonic would be great for her.

Yesterday I saw a post about a good Android music player that plays/browses by folders, which is what I much prefer above iTunes style. I was about to install it on my phone, when I realized... I never even copied any music files to my phone!

Subsonic does all the music things I need :). The only music on my phone is Subsonic's cache :D.
