I mystically stumbled across Subsonic one night while looking for a music streaming solution beyond shoutcast which I had used in the past. Little did I know what I was getting into. This has to be the best thing since sliced bread! Granted I had some hiccups getting things up and running as I was ripping iTunes deep hooks out of my music collection! (still actually dealing with the repercussions from it.
Thank you for not only giving me a wonderful streaming solution, but for allowing me to kiss iTunes good bye! My iPod will never be happier!
Oh and thanks to the forum for the multiple threads on difficulties with NAS setups. Looks like I'll be making some slight modifications to my setup. No worries just a great time/frustration savings!
