I think I know what has been happening to some of my mp3s that refuse to play on my Android client.

I think that if I force them to be re-encoded, it will work. I have tried to make and mp3 to mp3 transcode option but it does not seem to work. Is there another way other then ogging my whole library?

I don't think this is the reason because when I try to play the song in subsonic, the file that is created in the subsonic folder on the device is 0 kb in size. I converted the same file to mp4 and played it on subsonic with no issues

I do not think lame is encoding the file correctly. Also I bunch of these files so I do not think that will help

I have a number of old MP3's that are like this. Is my only solution to reencode? Ones that I have have made and others from podcasts that I download.

Is there no way to for mp3 to wav and then wav to mp3?

I have sent dropbox link to a file that I have issues playing in subsonic on my phone. It appears the download from subsonic fails. The file is zero bytes in size. I have no issues playing it if I download it right to the phone.

I hope this helps

[2/17/11 8:00:25 AM EST] DEBUG TranscodeInputStream Starting transcoder: [c:\subsonic\transcode\lame] [-S] [-h] [--resample] [44.1] [-b] [64] [e:\media\new songs\Purchased music\01 BegginTEST.mp3]
