Email address in the settings?
Posted: Sun Jun 12, 2011 1:48 amWhat is the purpose of the email address field in the Users settings within the web based Subsonic interface?
As yet there has been no functioality associated with the email address entry. Possible uses for future releases may be to auto send forgotten passwords and auto update users of changes to the site. It may also be possible to set up self registration for guest users who would have to provide a valid email account to gain access to a site.
