Subsonic in Netgear Stora NAS

Hi from a new, happy, Subsonic user 8)

I just wanted to let you know that last night I dropped Subsonic in to my "rooted" (http://www.openstora.com/) Netgear Stora NAS. The Stora is ARMv5 based, not including java. So first I installed current version of Java SE for the ARMv5 and then the Subsonic. There are some Stora specific things to be done before the Subsonic can be used, iptables is running in the box which must be tweaked, but after that the Subsonic works like charm. Ok, the hardware is weakish which means the web ui of the Subsonic is not that fluent as with stronger hardware. However streaming works very well.

All this just to tell this is one more way to use the great software. Thanks to Sindre and rest of the gang as well, I'll make my donation soon.

This may be slightly off topic, but could you provide some more information on how you installed Java onto the Stora?

I have root access and have downloaded the embedded Java archive, but it doesn't provide any installation instructions that I can see (which I suppose makes sense, because it's supposed to be generic enough for ANY ARMv5 platform).

I've moved the binaries to /usr/bin and the libraries to /usr/lib, but I get

Error: could not find libjava.so
Error: could not find Java 2 Runtime Environment.

whenever I try to run java. I'm guessing I have to inform the system of the library path, but I'm not sure how.
