There seems to be an audio problem introduced in Android 2.3.3, which is the basis of Cyanogen Mod. If a music player and navigation are playing at the same time, navigation volume is turned down.
There are bugs open on this, and it appears stock Android Music 3.0.0 has a fix. So while this may not be a Subsonic problem as such, maybe the 3.0.0 player has found a fix that Sindre could steal ?
