must make an advert to foobar2000

http://www.foobar2000.org/ = free fast open source player

hardly any other player that use as little resources as foobar, lot's of useful plugins, features like replaygain and more....

I love foobar2000 so much. Note the original developers of Winamp no longer work on the project, however I believe one of the original developers of Winamp created Foobar2000.

It would be fantastic if there were a foobar plugin written that allowed you to browse your subsonic library from within foobar.

VLC for video, Foobar for large playlists.

Rarely do I listen to playlists over albums, but I've yet to find myself in a position to want to use Subsonic's playlist manager as of now.

Xmplay is a great player. And it has a very small memory footprint.

Music player?

I didn't even know another music player would integrate, and I'm not sure why I'd use anything other than the web interface built into Subsonic on my PCs!

I *LOVE* the web interface!!

On my portable Android devices, I use the Subsonic client in the Android Market because it, like the Subsonic server and interfaces, is absolutely BRILLIANT!!

Short answer: I don't use a music/media player other than the native Subsonic web interface, or Subsonic client on Android devices.

Keep up the GREAT work Sindre, and thanks again!!

I used AIMP2 for the longest time because it could stream FLAC directly. WinAmp can't stream FLAC (as of this writing, 5.61). But AIMP2 garbled up the playlist for MP3s (but left it intact for FLAC). I tried AIMP3 but that lost position whenever I paused a track's playback (dumb dumb dumb).

Now I basically just use the webplayer interface. Even though it doesn't have any equalizer presest...

I use Mediamonkey on the rare occasions I'm actually able to listen to music on my main computer (my office recently became my infant son's room), but just to access my library directly - I thought it might be possible to integrate Subsonic with Mediamonkey, but I have no idea how (even though Mediamonkey is how I found out about Subsonic in the first place).

At work I'm in the SS web interface all day, and in iSub during the commute.

Yep MediaMonkey for me too. I use it for conversion/tagging and all the other donkey (or should that be monkey :? ) work.
But usually if I want to listen to music on me laptop I use the SS web browser.
Everyone is entitled to be stupid, Image but some abuse the privilege!

Due to the confusion from too many genres of music, we have decided to put both country music and rap music into the genre of Crap music.

I voted for Mplayer, only because I would LOVE the jukebox to be able to control mplayer as a player.

Otherwise, I'm using the internal player from Jukebox and web.

I happily used vlc to stream both mp3 en flac.
But recently i started to use the https option? Now i can find a single player witch supports flac streaming over https. Does anyone knows a player which can do this?
