Getting errors using android app

Getting an error -

Error Playing "Song Title" Prepare failed.: status=0xFFFFFFFC(IOException)
Getting this error whether using 3G or WiFi connectivity.
It's not happening with every song, just sporadically. All my music is ripped to 320k, correctly tagged (for what that's worth) and in MP3 format.
Other songs on the same album will play fine.
I have a Samsung Epic. The songs I'm getting the error on play normally when playing on my laptop or from the PC I use as the server.
Any help would be appreciated, and if anyone needs more info on my set up to help me, I can provide it.

This must be an issue with either my phone or my provider. I set everything up on a friends phone and everything worked fine. For future reference for anyone that may have similar issues, my phone is rooted and his wasn't. I plan on resetting my phone and if it clears the issue I'll add that to this.

Have you tried deleting the cached mp3 file for the song that is giving an error? I've seen issues before where the song download will fail for whatever reason and leave a 0 byte file in its place. Subsonic thinks this is a valid file and gets an IOException when trying to play it. Deleting the file and letting it redownload often fixes the issue.

Reverting the phone to factory didn't have any effect. jsr, are you talking about deleting the song from the server and reloading? I'll certainly try that, but like I said, seems to work fine everywhere except my phone.

I'm talking about deleting the song from the subsonic cache on the SD card of your phone (or wherever the cache is setup, default is on SD). Resetting to factory defaults probably didn't touch the cache, since it usually will not clear external storage.
