Subsonic is a memory hog ...

Postby lidbjork » Fri Nov 25, 2011 1:40 am

I just installed Subsonic and I'm amazed at how well it works. But according to top, it hogs 28% of my 512 megabytes of RAM on my server. Isn't that a little much?
Is this expected? I'm running the standalone 4.5 release on Slackware Linux 13.1 on a P400. I guess I'll try compiling the source to see if it'll be lighter. But I'd love to hear some comments and suggestions.
Thanks still for a great piece of software!

Yep gone are the days when you could run pacman in 32k of memory using assembly code
Everyone is entitled to be stupid, Image but some abuse the privilege!

Due to the confusion from too many genres of music, we have decided to put both country music and rap music into the genre of Crap music.
