Recurring JDBC error

I get this error almost everyday which requires me to have to restart the box:
Exception org.springframework.jdbc.CannotGetJdbcConnectionException
Message Could not get JDBC Connection; nested exception is java.sql.SQLException: File input/output error: /var/subsonic/db/subsonic.log
Java version The FreeBSD Foundation 1.6.0_07
Operating system FreeBSD 7.3-RELEASE-p7
Server jetty-6.1.x

This is on a freenas server. I have about 30 gig drive for the root, and the log file is only 25mb. Any ideas?
