Incorporating "bloggy" elements in Subsonic
This may be a somewhat unusual use-case - I'm actually curious to see if other people are doing anything similar.
I have 15-20 regular users on my server, and have been using the "Welcome Message" as a sort of crude blog for a few months now, highlighting recent additions to the server, sharing tips and tricks for SS navigation, putting together album lists, etc.:

I keep about a month's worth of posts in the "Welcome Message" before archiving them in my Subsonic "Blog." This is actually just an empty album folder I created on my server, called "###BLOG###." I copy/paste old content (as well as posts that I deem to be too long to run in their entirety in the "Welcome Message") into the Comments for that folder:

I have a link to this folder at the top and bottom of the "Welcome Message" section so new users can get to it easily and read up on old content.
Is anyone doing anything similar? I'd love to hear if there are other ways people have found to interact with their users.
Also, (and this is for Sindre - I may cross-post this in the Feature Request sub-forum) I'm wondering if it would be possible in a future release to make the Welcome Message and Comments part of the API - while my web-based users seem to really enjoy the bloggy elements I have incorporated, I have a sizable contingent that only connects to my server via iSub, and I'd love for them to be able to access this content as well. Ben at iSub indicated that he might be willing to incorporate something like this if it were part of the Subsonic API.
Obviously, if I'm the only person on God's green earth who's using Subsonic in this way, then there won't be much call for incorporating this, but I'm looking forward to hearing others' feedback!
