Is there a way to use the remote control feature of Subsonic to launch a player like Foobar2000 on a PC for playback instead of the built in Jukebox? Instead of just having music playing out of the computer it would be nice to have foobar running with Milkdrop 2 VIS while listening to tunes.

Basically use Subsonic as a remote control for foobar2000

I have read a bunch of post about External Players and I understand that for listening through the web interface but haven't seen about External player for Jukebox RC.

As basically all you want is a music visualiser running in tandem with SS jukebox have you checked out standalone apps?

BKKKPewsey good suggestion I'll definitely look into some of those options.

As far as I understand it's like addon, right?
