Dear all,

Somehow my topic ended up in the FAQ section, so I repost it here in the general section (where it belongs)

For a couple of day's I'm using the subsonic server on a win 7 PC (Subsonic 4.6) in combination with my Samsung galaxy S2 (android app)
This great software enables me to listen to my music every where I go.

I read in the android app store that you can also us the app as a remote control for your server.
Since my server is connected to my stereo set this is preferable when I'm at home.
But what ever I try, I cannot find the remote control option.

What am I missing?

Hope one of you can help me out.

On the playing screen, touch the little "RC" that is shown next to the album art.

In the end it was very simple.

Is there a functionality to change the sound volume of the server/jukebox by using Remote Control? If not, is it a planned feature?

I believe that the volume control on your phone is passed through to the server. I may be wrong though...
