How does subsonic to stream a video file beeing encoded?

Postby bilbud » Tue Jun 05, 2012 8:08 pm

Hello everyone,
I was wondering how does subsonic to stream a video file beeing encoded with ffmpeg.

I have read that subsonic was'nt using any disk space while encoding videos.

Does this mean that the output of ffmpeg is directly sent to jwplayer through http? If so, how does it works?

Thank you!
