[SOLVED] Video sharing issue

Postby nowid50 » Sat Jul 14, 2012 5:13 pm

Hello,

I have been using Subsonic for about a year and I recently tried video streaming. It works great on my computer or my android phone.
However, I have recorded old video cassettes on my Subsonic and I want to share it with some people that don't have an account. I have tried the share function, it works great for music but not for video.

Let me explain : Music streaming is great ! Video streaming is ... Well it seems that the "share player" is not buffering and drop the connection when no more video data is loaded. It is weird because the "normal video player" works heavenly and wait when buffer is empty.

Can anyone give me a trick to solve that ?

Thanks in advance everyone :)

Thanks but no thanks :)

The idea behind subsonic is to keep your data where you want it to be, not uploading somewhere

But I upgraded the latest subsonic and used the latest FFMPEG and problems are now gone !

I'll tag the topic "Solved" ;)
