Mac OS X - Jukebox controller with media keys or shortcuts

I've done a bunch of searching and thought I'd post in case any one had figured out a way to get this working. Basically I want to be able to control Subsonic jukebox from a Mac and either use the media keys or global hot keys to mitigate behavior.

Clementine player supports global hot keys, but I don't think the subsonic plugin is fully developed yet. Thumper doesn't do jukebox.

Suggestions?
