How to change the upload directory

Hi there, subso is realy fine, the first Soundmachine which fits to nearly all my demands. Thanks!

But I didn't find a solution to change the upload directory. I would like to put it as an own group directory instead of ../main/incomming. Please, can give me someone a tipp.

Further it would be a feature request (I know wrong place here) to give every user its own Incomming directory.

Kind Regards
Hans

You can't change the upload directory. For some reason Subsonic always expects an "incoming" folder in the first mediafolder you create.
Perhaps that some guru here knows where and how you can mod Subsonic to point to a different incoming folder.
I keep it simple by just adding an Incoming folder to my mediafolders and if I want to upload a file I just change the destination folder manually.
In my setup Subsonic always insists that my Incoming folder should be E:\Sharedmp3\A\Incoming, But I change that every time to E:\Sharedmp3\Incoming when I want to upload a file.
Must admit that it's a hassle if you have 50 files to upload.
Perhaps a topic for Feature Requests?

Hi Toolman
Thanks for your answer. I made a symlink to outside. So I can check and move new files easily. But there are some other topics to solve for me.
Kind Regards
Hans
