Subsonic error keeps popping up "Connection failure. Didn't understand the reply. Please check the server address." Does anyone know why I can't seem to make a successful connection to my server. This is driving me insane. The server address is right off of the router. I want to use this amazing application. This is the last step that I can't seem to figure out. Your help is appreciated guys.

Hey Sindre,
How about looking into this problem for me?? I have yet to donate to this great application.

Any luck?

ndfan4u, did you ever get this resolved? I'm getting this error from my droid and I'm getting the following error in subsonic on the networking tab below my server address:

Status: xxxxxxxx.subsonic.org returned HTTP error code 404 Not Found

Did you ever check subsonic on your PC to see if you were getting this error?

I have been getting this quite a bit lately, too on my Droid Incredible.

I have 3 different servers running on 3 different architectures (Win/OSX/Linux). The Win machine is on a cable connection, the others are on DSL.

So far, the Linux and the Mac servers perform better than the Windows one, but one common denominator is that I'm using the servers at subsonic.org. I will try to change that to see if it fixes the problem once and for all.

Hey guys,

You might get a better response if you post under the help forum instead of the tutorials. Most people only look under the tutorials forum if they are looking for a tutorial.

Hope this helps,
