Subsonic Server caching

Postby Mauth » Sat Mar 15, 2014 3:45 pm

So i'm running a subsonic server on ubuntu 12.04, but my media files are stored on a windows share on my wife's machine.

I'm noticing an issue where the hard drive space on my linux box is slowly being used the longer the subsonic server is running, and i'm just curious where the server might cache these files. I'm unsure if it's due to the transcoding (which i use while i'm accessing it on my phone), or just in general.

Thanks for helping! I appreciate it!

so I've learned a bit about the Subsonic API and was able to take advantage of it to enhanced my Playlist Editor tool to work with Subsonic server instead of just displaying local files.
