Customizing the Web UI

I have been using Subsonic for a few years now, and am currently trying the 6.1 beta (thanks for the HTML5 player). There are a couple of things I've always wanted to do, but cannot find an obvious way to do: (1) make the default page the Music page, and (2) get a listings by album. Could someone tell me if there is a way to do these things? They seem kind of obvious, so I'd be surprised if there isn't.
