How can I disable HTTP forwarding to HTTPS

Hopefully a quick question. I am looking for a way to disable the automatic forwarding that subsonic does to the HTTPS port from the HTTP port. Reason I want to do this is I would like HTTP connections for machines inside my house (Which will allow Subsonic and my Chromecast Audio to play nice), but still be able to only allow HTTPS for connections originating from outside my network. Any ideas on how to accomplish this? Thanks!
