Music Folder Index - only displaying Music

I have a questions about the music directory index. I did not put my music in /var/music, as was the default location of the music directory upon installation. Instead I deleted that music folder in the gui, and replaced it with the music directory within my home directory. However, Subsonic isn't displaying all the directories under my music directory in the left column, just the music directory. Do I need to add all of the directories within Music to get them in the index?
FYI: My directory structure is the recommended Music > Artist > Album > Song
Thanks for any insight!

If you are structured as X:\Music\Artist\Album\Tracks
You should enter in Settings - Music Folders - "X:\Music"
Then all the folders should appear in the left column by Artist organized alphabetically.
If this is a fresh install, go to Settings - Search and click on "Update search index now." to run the initial indexing. Once done you should be good to go.

Thanks for responding GJ51.
So I've tried to your suggestion, reindexing search, but the index is still not appearing. My music directory is directly under my home directory, so here's my path: /home/myhome/Music (for example), so it's structured like this: /home/myhome/Music/Artist/Album/Tracks. The Artists are still not appearing in the Index. I'm really at a loss here. I believe I'm doing everything correctly. I've read (and reread) the documentation, and it looks like I'm doing this correctly.

Try setting up a new directory, /Music, place a test folder of any album in it, and lets see what happens. Temporarily delete all other Music Folders listed in the Settings menu.

I figured this out. It was my mistake. I copied the Music directory under the Music folder in my home directory like this: /home/myhome/Music/Music/Artist/Album/Tracks.
Thanks for your help!
