I'm trying to figure out how to shuffle play my entire collection. It looks like this video there's a shuffle play button on the main screen but I can't find it on mine:

I'm using version 3.2, has this feature been removed or am I just not getting to it correctly?

On the "home" screen (the one with "Select Server" at the top) there is a button in the upper right corner next to the magnifying glass icon. That is "Shuffle All."

It looks like a "Traffic Split" road sign...

Hi Glenn,

When I click that button I just get "playlist is empty" - do I first have to add my entire collection to one playlist?

Actually all the menus are empty except if I click the treble clef at the bottom of the screen. Then I can see my albums and can play the songs within them no problem.

what I want is that Subsonic will randomly choose one song after another from my entire collection. Is that possible?

I can't explain what you are seeing... when I click that icon, I get a playlist of 20 or so random songs, and more once I play those twenty...

Ok, thanks for the response Glenn. Is anyone else seeing this or just me? I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S Plus Android 2.3.3

I did that and it said it had been refreshed. I went back to the phone and pressed the big shuffle button top right and still got 'playlist is empty'. About a minute later while I was busy rereading the thread to see if I'd missed something it suddenly started working. I'm now VERY happy and will be sending Sindre my donation today - thanks!!
