SubStreamer Cannot Connect Locally

I am on iOS and recently switched over to Subsonic with the advise from those at Airsonic because they said it is more compatible with apps. I am trying to setup a smart home system and would like to control SS on our local network. When I put in http://192.168.0.12:2424 which is SS local address, the SubStreamer app will not connect to it. It seems as though it wants a .com address. Any advise? Maybe another program would be better to use? I like SubStream because it is a very clean iTunes looking layout.

Hi, substreamer works perfectly with with either IP addresses or domain names, it doesn’t care which you use. I’m the developer of substreamer so if you have any issues just drop me a message and I’ll try to help you out.
