I tried to contact the guy a couple of times & nothing happened. I imagine he didn't have anyone to give the app to & GitHub was the next best thing. Now at this point it's impossible for the app to go back to the store since it has been posted under GPL3.

What phone is it? 6? Because on Xcode 5 I only managed to get the app to launch & build on a 4s/5. For my iPhone 6 I had to use the current archive method. My guess is that there may be a small but critical difference between the SDKs for iPhone 6s & the SDKs for everything else.

He never responded to my emails either. Why is the app still be sold in the app store then?

It's begs the question. He posted the GPL license six months ago. The app store's ToS clashes with GPL3 & Apple HAS pulled apps before (1). Why iSub has survived this long is a good question. Maybe it's because it is a small app for a very specific platform. If you were to ignore this issue, then the next issue that would cause the app to get pulled is iOS8 incompatibility. Currently, the adoption rate for iOS8 stands at 46% (2). That's not even a majority AND iOS8 is not even a full month old AND there are tons of incompatible apps at the moment. Quick anecdote, every morning I exercise & record my exercise in Jefit. I also watch MKVs on AVPlayer while I exercise. Both apps are having problems with iOS8/iPhone 6.

Yes updated

BUT with the same glitch for ipad

On the leftpane if you play some music the underlaying pane (cache, chat, etc) is touch sensible as if the upperlaying pane was not there.

The github code as the same issue

Terrific, just noticed the update.
Of course I've cached like 8gb in Kaptemplar's compiled version, so I may not make the switch for a while.
I won't run the update on my ipad since I'm using ios 7 on it.

Hi guys,

Great news! So maybe we're not up a creek with GPL3? Maybe Apple was just really behind approving app updates. Now, I wonder what's causing the iPad issue. Any ideas there?
