Syncing playlists with a folder
Posted: Sun Aug 05, 2012 3:10 pmThis is a pretty basic feature, I'm surprised Subsonic doesn't support it out of the box. I have a few playlists that change often (e.g., Week: music added in the last week, Concert: bands that I'm seeing soon, etc.) and I don't want to have to have to log into Subsonic and update the playlists all the time.

This was a little tricker than I thought it would be, because the API doesn't provide a mechanism for uploading playlists. Hope this is useful for others.

ps Uploading the script as a text file, it seems the forum doesn't like the .pl file extension...

- Deletes all my Subsonic playlists
- Uploads all the playlists in a specified folder into Subsonic
