Console client?

Are there any console based clients available?

Subsonic servers can be reached from any web browser. All you need is the address and log on credentials.

I am fully aware of that subsonic can be reached through a webbrowser, I am also aware that there are some GUI based desktop frontends available.

However I'd like to be able to listen through a cli/ncurses based client.

So, are any such clients out there?

In a word, no. I've looked into building one, and I might try over winter break, but don't hold your breath, I've never used ncurses.

It would be awesome to get such a client.

Something compared to the layout and functionality of ncmpcpp would be ideal, and an integration with mpd would be even better.

However a simple mplayer wrapper would do just fine.
