Important news regarding the future of SubHub.

Dear SubHub customers,
First of all, we at Voodoo77 Studios want to thank each and every one of our customers for supporting us since our launch in July 2013. I personally read and answer every single support request, feedback item, and feature request. And there’s absolutely nothing more rewarding than reading your criticism and praise, and the fantastic experience of turning a critic into a fan of our work. Today I’m writing to let all of you know that I have accepted a position at Expedia / Mobiata on their exceptional mobile team.
What does this mean for SubHub and future products? While my day to day duties at Expedia will of course take first priority, we have no plans to discontinue development or stop support for SubHub. There may be a little bit of a wait time in between responses for support requests from myself. Development cycles will go on for a little bit longer. But like you, I am a user of SubHub. I dare to say that I’m both its biggest critic and staunchest fan. And as long as I’m able to do so, I will take great pride and pleasure in being able to share it and our future products with all of you.
Finally, I’ve been working on our iOS 7 update for SubHub just about every single day since September 2013. The new aesthetic and features of iOS 7 forced me to think a lot about our presentation and feature set, and I’ve found myself questioning our implementation and existing functionality. I’ve taken some core systems like our network stack and completely rebuilt or replaced them. And of course taken a bit of your feedback to heart and implemented some ideas you’ve shared. I’m very excited about our iOS 7 update and I personally can’t wait to share it with all of you soon. While we don’t have a release date set yet, I anticipate being release ready sometime in the next 2 to 3 months.
Again, thank you for your support and understanding. And we look forward to serving you in 2014 and beyond.
Sincerely yours,
Paul Kite
