play:Sub Radio Stations and song Ratings

I am curious about the "Radio Stations" selection on the home/Music tab. When I click it, it shows a blank page, even though my Ampache/Subsonic server does have stations. If I click the "+" it goes to a new page and says "Only available for on-device playback". It doesn't seem like I can add stations from the app. How is this supposed to work?

New question: Is it posible to search by or view music that has been Top Rated or Favorited on the Ampache/Subsonic server?

For information to other users, the developer Michael, has said he js working on the app crash that results from viewing Music > Artists > Artist page.

Hi,

The "Radio Stations" section shows a) radiostations configured on the Subsonic server and b) locally added radio stations.
The '+' for adding radio stations is loading data from the radiobrowser directory (radiobrowser.info), and is broken at the moment due to a change in the API of radiobrowser.info.
This will be fixed soon in a new release of play:Sub.

You should be able to see "Favourites" on the Music tab in play:Sub, and inside "Favourites" there is lists for favourite songs/albums/artists/...

And yes, I am working on fixes to the crashes that has popped up with recent iOS versions - not iOS' fault, but an old bug in play:Sub has become way more frequent.

/M

Thanks for the reply Michael! I had seen the favorites tab, bit it wasn't showing anything other than music I had "Favorited" within the app. I have since found that the music ratings I had in my ampache database were for root user, and I was logging into play:Sub with a regular user who had no ratings created. All working perfectly now!

I'm really looking forward to the radio functionality, I currently use radio.net for that but have never been fond of their layout (and ads...)
