Subsonic Virtual Appliance

I have built a Subsonic Virtual Appliance:

http://dimingo.com/wixy/WixyBase-30.zip

This appliance is a vmware virtual machine, which has Subsonic 3.6 already installed on a GNU/Linux (Ubuntu) operating system.

This means that you only need to download this virtual appliance and run it with VMware Player or another compatible player (VirtualBox, QEMU).

You don't need to install Subsonic at all. Just start the virtual machine.

Any feedback is welcome.

Best regards,
Giovanni

Yes, you are right.

Lame is not installed in the Subsonic virtual appliance (SVA).

I will install it in the next release of SVA.

does that unzip to an ISO file
if you use unetbootin
you can use that to
write it to a flash drive and make it self-booting
works good

I assume it's based on Ubuntu JeOS right?

For all that don't know what JeOS is look here:

Actually it is based on VMware Studio, where I selected an Ubuntu JeOS.
