thank you so much for your effort! it works like a charm!

and a little typo busting in your install guide:

line 27:
subsonic/jetty/webapp/WEB-INF/ subsonic-servlet.jsp
has to be
subsonic/jetty/webapp/WEB-INF/ subsonic-servlet.xml

line 233:
subsonic/jetty/webapp/WEB-INF/icons/
has to be
subsonic/jetty/webapp/icons/

this is all with subsonic 3.7 standalone in mind, mind you.

thanks again,
bye

i found a bug in your upload-window-mod:
I go to the "more" tab, and try to create a random playlist. After clicking "ok" the playlist gets created BUT I am taken to the upload-window page, but not in a separate window, but in the main frame.

if more info is needed, i'll be glad to provide it.

btw, is anybody actually using this mod? either the install guide is so good that nobody has to ask questions, or this mod seems too complicated (which it isnt) for most people.

I'm just wondering about the lack of posts for the IMHO greatest mod to subsonic so far.

You know I am using it. I love the mod and have done some additional things to it for my own purpose like linking to rules for uploading to my site.

For example I list out that if it is not tagged with artist and song name or if it is not 128kbps or better I will just delete it. It is surprising the untagged junk people will upload....

I have installed the MOD and get this messages when I tried to upload music:

"Permission denied: C:\music\Test.wma"

Do you get the same error when you use the upload function listed under "More"?

Most likely this is probably a permissions for that folder. Do you have write access for that folder?

?

There is no option to upload files from "More"

OH yeah... I forgot this mod removes that option from there. My guess though is that you only have read access to that folder, not write access.

Hi
you can look at this link
http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Window ... d1033.mspx

Try to turn of Firewall in windows and / or your virus program, see if it works then.
