Thank you so much for your continued effort on this! It works perfectly. This is my favorite ss mod and while I do enjoy upgrading my ss versions I always dread losing this functionality. Thank you again for your quick work.

I must be doing something wrong.
To the best of my knowledge, I followed all the steps properly, made the changed in my subsonic folder at the root of C:, turned off the service manually, killed the subsonic agent, restarted the service manually, turned on the subsonic agent, relaunched my browser, went to my subsonic and I see no changes.

I manually edited the files per the instructions and still this is not working. Can you give me any ideas on where I went wrong? I did save after each edit to make sure that I didn't lose any data.

Files have been copied over as best as I know how.

I am using the Groove theme (not the Simple version of that). Do I need to be on the Default Subsonic theme?

Thank you for this MOD tho, I can't wait to get it up and running. :)

EDIT:
Ok, I see my Upload Icon and that window pops up just fine, tho I don't intend on using it. That one is ok, I am just concerned about everything else, especially the playlist, I like the way you have that laid out. Very nice indeed.

Try this:

stop subsonic.

you have upload this files:

playlist.jsp --> Only open file in Notepad and save
home.jsp --> Only open file in Notepad and save
main.jsp --> Only open file in Notepad and save
more.jsp --> Only open file in Notepad and save

Regards
Cyclopes

I did it and now it works.
Why did that work? That makes no sense to me at all.

Thank you so very much! :)

hi cyclopes,

i would like to try your mod but am a bit confused which files i have to overwrite.

in my C:\subsonic\jetty\2172\jsp\org\apache\jsp\WEB_002dINF\jsp directory i see both home_jsp.class and home_jsp.java.

which do i have to overwrite your home.jsp ?

(same for your other files)

thanks,
Sander

/edit/
Oops... i guess it should be C:\subsonic\jetty\2172\webapp\WEB-INF\jsp
/edit/

/edit2/
Works!! Awesome!!

It works, of course. Years of long SS pack experience were not for naught :)
Nice new player buttons, I like 'em. And I'm glad you put the player selection dropdown back into the pack, it was mildly confusing when it was gone. I was like "cool it works...no wait, wheres my players!"

Try these steps and see if it works/shows up afterwards first please: Mod testing / bug reporting 101

hi there,
small question:
when i use the jukebox player i don't see the prev. en next song buttons.
they do appear with webplayer.

is this as designed?

regards,
Sander

Hi cyclopes,

what is the issue with building prev. next buttons for the jukebox player?
(didn't show up in searching this forum)

i mainly use the webinterface with jukeboxplayer because my home server is connected to an usb DAC on my stereo.

with current webinterface both the size/location of the playlist and skipping through playlist is not very well designed. i rather have the playlist at the right column to see more songs without having to scroll.

thanks.
