Here is my latest little project.
It is a Android remote control app for SharpSonic.

Features:
- Save latest connected server
- Play/Pause/Forward/Rewind
- Show Cover art of currently playing song

Requires Android 2.3.3 and that you have allowed installation of non-Market applications.
Settings -> Applications -> Unknown Sources
SharpSonic Beta10 or higher is required.
In SharpSonic under Settings -> SharpSonic Remote you can enter password and portnumber for the server.
To connect the app presse Menu -> Connect to server and input ip, password and portnumber.

Download SharpSonic Remote

Hope you like it!

Feature requests/bugreports are most welcome!

I want to thank Sindre for letting me use the images from the SubSonic Android app, it made mine look a lot better :)

SharpSonic Remote is free to use, but if you want to buy me a beer you can :D

Malware? SharpSonic Remote for Android [Beta 1 Oct26]

This app may not be what it claims to be!

I (maybe foolishly) downloaded this app to my 'Driod, hoping it could act as a remote for SubSonic in Jukebox mode.
It asks for Server IP address, Port and Password.
It does not connect to Subsonic, how could it? as no username has been entered.

Sorry if I'm casting doubt on a legit project, but this is an Unsigned app not cleared by the Market and I can find no other info about it's ownership on the web.
If your legit, please explain...

It certainly does not work, and so what is it *really* doing?

If you read the second line in my post:
It is a Android remote control app for SharpSonic.
SharpSonic is my other project, a desktop application for SubSonic and this remote controls that app NOT SubSonic.
Sorry if the names are confusing but I had a hard time coming up with one of my own...

Take it from me, reading is not a strong point with a lot of our users :(

With regard to the name I can see the dilemma - I think we must have nearly exhausted the "submarine" themes now
