I'm looking to start playing a playlist on certain days of the week automatically at a certain time. Has anyone done this or had luck doing this? Thanks for any help or advice.

Hi,
You could add your favorite songs to a playlist and use the subsonic share function.
With windows you can set up a scheduled task to start your browser with your playlist link.

Hope this help.
Best Regards

That is very helpful. I'm not sure I can make that work for my situation though. I am running subsonic in jukebox mode on a linux server with no gui. The speakers are plugged directly into the server and the subsonic service is set to start in the morning automatically but I have to log in through the web remotely to start the music playing. At the end of the day the service is set to turn off and back on to stop the music from playing. I'm open to any suggestions on how to make that better. Thank you for the advice and I'll look into the subsonic sharing feature to see if it can help.

If you're running Subsonic on a Linux server, you may be able to set up a cron job.

I think it would be cool (and useful) to have a feature where you can set up "alarms" on the jukebox server.
