This is not a mod but a service you can use if you cant post a donation to the creator of subsonic because you cant or dont use paypal, after your 30 days are up. Go to http://www.no-ip.com register there then login setup a host then have it redirected to your localhost. Download the small software and each time your ip is changed for whatever reason it will be found by users. Its FREE and you get a web address also. Hope this helps. Sorry to say subsonic i dont use paypal dont like there service.

I'm sure that a personal email to Sindre would eventually come up with a work around to having to use paypal, but that's just a suggestion.

NB: no-ip.com will work as a redirect, but will still not enable you to use the REST API, stopping all mobile applications from connecting. So unless you only registered for the subsonic.org vanity domain name, this will not be a substitution for registration.

You may be right however for myself and those who do not wish to use the mobile apps it will keep users abreast of your current ip address
