Playlists & Memory issues

Hello, this is my first posting and appeal for assistance.

I have my own subsonic server http://kwaved.subsonic.org but very often I enjoy my friend's server http://radioba.subsonic.org.

We both have standard cable modem connections.

I have created some playlists from radioba's offerings. and I have noticed a couple of problems:

1) If I create and save a playlist and then attempt to add more to that playlist and save it again to the same name --- I have never been able to reload that playlist again.

2) loading of the playlists is VERY slow and sometimes takes 10 minutes of longer. Furthermore once the playlist does appear in the browser window I am unable to play the list. The player appears to be attempting to play it but it just churns away never producing any sound.

3) when I load subsonic and a playlist the memory usage of firefox goes through the roof ... like a 60-MB increase ... this seems quite unnecessary.

I realize that loading from one remote cable modem connection to my cable connection is not exactly a fully wide and open channel ... but the sluggishness and resources used by subsonic seem to be problematic.

I would appreciate any comments from the developers or users that might explain and resolve some of these issues???
