I have an HTC Evo with stock firmware and the most recent versions of all software on it.
I use Tasker to automate a number of activities. One of the activities is to start Subsonic and play as soon as my car's bluetooth is connected. This kinda works. If the subsonic client is already running, I can send a "Toggle Pause" command or a "Next" command to get it start playing. However, if the subsonic client is not running, I can start it up, but, it does not play anything until I manually hit the "Shuffle Play" button.
While defining an application launch task in Tasker, I can specify a data/parameter that gets passed to the application that is being launched. This is the equivalent of a command line argument/parameter in a Windows/Linux app.
Does the Subsonic client accept command line arguments? If so, is there a way to launch it in the "Shuffle Play" mode so it starts playing immediately?
Is anybody else using Tasker to control the Subsonic client on their Android phone?
