Hitting newest Tab never changes

Postby rodan1967 » Thu Nov 11, 2010 6:38 pm

I have a strange problem with 4.2 beta1. Whenever I add new music to my collection and update the search index. When I hit the tab from the HOME page for NEWEST it never changes. It seems to ignore the file dates of when albums have been created. I also have noticed the MOST RECENT tab never updates either. It still has the same albums listed since installing 4.2 beta1. Anyone else had these problems? Does anyone know where the search index file is located? Thinking deleting it and redoing scan to let subsonic create a new one.

Subsonic 4.1 (build 1806) - "Most frequent" and "Most recent" don't updated. Workaround: stop server, remove file ".../db/subsonic.data" (or rename to "subsonic.data.bak") and start server again.

Other bugs:

1. Files and directories in my collection is a with identical date and time at first start of server. In this situation "Newest" isn't blank and I see two albums (randomly selected in my opinion) on this section. New albums included correctly after those two albums...

2. Album with various artists in "Random" section isn't named "Various Artists / Album Name". "Various Artists" replaced with some artist name from album.

3. "More / Random playlist" don't added tracks to currently played playlist (playlist replaced) and play stopped.

4. Playing frame don't refreshed after track change if played random playlist.

5. "No Limit" is a misspelling menu entry for bitrate. Default bitrate for lame is a 128 kbps and this value is used for encoding...

PP: "Most frequent" and "Most recent" stop working again after automatic upgrade of search index last night!
