BUG: Android 2.3.3 and Subsonic, Stops playing when in bkgrd

hey all, this bug has been plaguing my phone for a while now, so much in fact that I've started using the default Music app and subsonic just to download songs.

Basically, when the android app is in the background playing, opening up a second app or bringing an already open app to focus causes the music to stop. I skimmed the forums and it doesn't seem to be happening to anyone else, so i'm thinking its my phone's configuration. I've been running a custom rom of Android 2.3.3 on my phone, so I'm thinking 2.3.3 and the Subsonic App may be incompatible in some way...

Any thoughts Sindre or anybody else? I'm pretty bummed, cause I prefer using the Subsonic app over 'Music'

I'm having the exact same problem. I'm running it on a Droid with Bugless Beast 0.6.1 which is Android version 2.2.1 so it isn't just 2.3.3.

For comparison i'm running stock 2.3.3 and don't have the described problem.

Also for comparison, I'm running non-stock Froyo (MIUI) and it doesn't have any issues playing in the background.

I posted this in the XDA forum thread for the ROM I'm using (GingerShedBread) and someone replied saying they do not have the issue. I'm contemplating doing a full wipe and seeing if that solves the issue.
