Can Subsonic be modified to or does it have the ability to stream music to a player embedded on a website?

I don't know for sure, I didn't code this. But you are looking for the 'embedding' option. So it is highly unlikely unless you did it yourself.

I haven't tried this, but you could probably use the share function and publicly share the media, then iframe the player from that page on another site.

Probably not a perfect solution, but it would probably work.

You could use the share function, then grab the stream URL and use it wherever you want. Try it out. Tell me if it works.
