Android App SLOW startup

I'm having an issue with the Android Subsonic app. When I launch it, sometimes it takes a full minute before the interface comes up. I have to click through a few "this app is not responding" messages by clicking "wait" until it finally comes up. Is this a function of how big my local cache is? I have it set to 5GB at the moment. Let me know if anyone else is noticing this behavior.

I've seen this too, but not quite as bad as you mention. The longest I've seen is probably around 30 seconds. Usually it is much quicker though. My guess is that it is a combination of cleaning the cache and deserializing the playlist. It hasn't bothered me enough to any real investigation though. You could try setting a smaller cache size and/or using a faster SD card.
