I'm doing the widget and the player for the next build, also adding ICS lockscreen widget :)

Awesome. I only mentioned it because the widget changed from the last build so I wasn't sure if you had done something intentionally/accidentally or what.

Try the build I just posted, let me know how that works. Yeah this needs to work on all devices though.

Yep, that did it. Great job Hax

Hey it looks good!

Given that we have to uninstall to update to the newest build, which resets settings, what can I do next time to avoid losing most of my cached music? Had cache set to 10GB, and it's 500MB by default. The first time I launched it, I think it deleted about 3GB of music...

Liking the "screen on" option too. Missed that after leaving the stock app for this one. Was it always there and I just didn't see it?

Do you plan to make the playback controls brighter in a future build? They are too dark to see in the car:

Have you considered integrating my ICS style widget?

So I lied, had a skip/stutter. It's definitely less though.

It won't stutter on cached songs, any song I click on that's not cached will stutter.

I'll add that to the next build for sure, I'll just include both.

I'm sorry, I never thought that would happen. Make sure you backup before you go back to market version when this is done. I would just rename the "Subsonic" cache folder on your sd then after you install and set cache size change the name back?

I have a couple of feature wishes for the android client

1. Caching of the library (listing) would save me some hassle. ISub on iphone has this.

2. Bookmarks so you can take up your listening where you left off. I use Subsonic both for music and audiobooks, and this would be very good for the audiobooks.

I could try to hack this myself, but unfortunately, I doubt that I will have enough time.

That was what I was thinking, but I did not know if there was more to it than that. Thanks.

By the way, if people are using ROMs or launchers that allow resizing of widgets that are normally not resizable, they should be able to reduce the size of the widget on the current build to make it look right. Worked for me.

I plan on making a cached music tab, it's really needed. The bookmarks is a good idea, I'll put them on the to do list.

In the next build I made the widget resizeable on ics stock launcher and it's also 4x1 on ics by default.
