Any way to get subsonic to list ALL files, media or not?

So I have a slew of videos with all types of different subtitle extensions like srt, idx, sub and so on. I found a handful of threads with tricks to get the player using some of them, but all have had their issues at the moment. Most of my users download and not stream. Is there any way to add other file types/extensions that just show up in the listings? I tried searching the board a few ways but could not find anything relevant using "non media files", "non video" and a few others. Running on Win7 machine and:
Version 4.7.beta3 (build 3081) – August 3, 2012
Server jetty-6.1.x, java 1.7.0_03, Windows 7 (35.7 MB / 72.4 MB)

I should have mentioned that I tried that already, rescanned media folders, and still doesn't list the sub files.
