Weird Playback Issues

I installed the update this morning (3.6.4) and I'm experiencing some weird issues in regards to the "play" button at the top. While playing an album, if I pick a new album and hit the play button at the top, it populates the tracks in the "Now Playing" but starts at the beginning of the old track I was just listening to. If I clear the now playing list and then pick a new album, it still plays the old song. In order to clear the old song from it's cache, I have to kill the app (just using the recent apps button on my phone and swiping it away) and then I can begin playing new songs.

Also, if I'm listening to an album and then press the trash icon at the top, the tracks disappear but it also begins playing the track I was just listening to, from the beginning. It doesn't show up in the "Now Playing" screen and I have no way to turn it off other than using the recent apps screen.

I hope all of that makes sense. I'm running CM10 Stable (4.1.2) on my rooted HTC One S.

EDIT: For what it's worth, my server is MusicCabinet 0.7.18beta2.

Yah after reading this description I think it's the same issue someone brought up in the main sticky thread. For some reason if you start playing a song which isn't cached it is just resuming playback on the last played file. I'll get this fixed for tonight. Just for the sake of helping me track down the root cause, did you update to 3.6.3 and have this issue? Or did you just skip straight from 3.6.1 to 3.6.4?

I did update to 3.6.3 but my server's been down for a few days so I didn't try streaming anything, just local playback. Assuming it's related to streaming and caching I can't be sure if it existed in 3.6.3.

Actually, I just tested it with the copy attached in viewtopic.php?f=16&t=11063 and can confirm the issue exists on 3.6.3.

Yah that does help because nothing in 3.6.4 should have affected it, but 3.6.3 possibly could have. Thnx for the quick feedback and I will try to track it down after work.

This issue should be fixed now. Please get back to me after you get the update for whether it fixed it or not.

Now it wont stream or cache at all. It will sit at "Downloading - 0 B." Already cached music plays fine.

Grr I hate android. It downloads fine on my phone and tablet. Oh well ill pull back the code that I'm pretty sure is causing it and update.
