Error

Postby whatwasthat4 » Sun Feb 17, 2013 9:38 pm

I'm on Windows 8, and finding that 4.7 does not recognize new MP3 files when added to my folders, so I downgraded to 4.6. I recevied the below error, anyone know what it means?

Bit of a clue there :?
Increase the memory allocation via the control panel - 250MB should be OK.

Thanks that got me going again! Any idea why 4.7 doesn't seem to pick up new files? I'd like to move to the current version, but this is holding me back. :|

Are you rescanning when you add new files?

Yes, but it does not recognize the new files. Same goes for any files I move. If I run 4.6, it picks them up. 4.7 does not though. :?

Tell me this isn't crazy... I can uninstall the program, reinstall it, and it keeps all my settings/media folders. If I could find where the index is, I'm sure that would fix it. Well... I'm not SURE. But I'm willing to try it. :D

If you want to do a clean install just delete the c:\subsonic folder 1st.
That will delete ALL your settings so have your license info to hand.
