Looks good here. The ony thing I find wrong with both Jsub and Subair is I cant save the play list if I want to. I like that I can see what others are doing on the board without being on the system.
Thanks.

I don't use https on my own subsonic-server until now. So i can't reproduce the problem and don't have any idea what the problem ist. Please give me time to analyse this. I always thought windows handles the certificates for connection, so if windows accept ones, why not jSub?! .. strange ... :(

Got it to work, I hade to import my own CA root certificate to java:

Giving jsub a try right now - mostly because I am having the stalling problem with Subair. So far, so good - I'll have more to report after I use it for a day or two!

After a long time I released a new version of jSub. See first posting for download.

Changes:
- Removed almost every http 40x-error (bad covers are a problem, you still get a message to fix them)
- https support (jSub simple accepts the certifacte, there is no check!)
- use SPACE for quick start/pause (when jSub has focus)
- some other bug fixes

Try it out and give feedback if you want :D

Yeah, I hope it was meant for us to have the version 0.2.6, you can change the 5 in the download link to a 6 and get the 0.2.6 version that way. I assumed the author just forgot to link it, so I hope letting this out isn't a big deal! (Though I am sure I wasn't the first to think of doing that)

Just downloading and trying out this app now, thanks Tippi!

Excellent. Works perfectly. Feels fast and no warnings or anything using https

I will probably be using this now, instead of that flash-web interface

Can anybody tell me if jSub can stream native FLAC, without transcoding it in other words??? I am desparately looking for a way to stream my FLAC's, many of them high rez 24bit/96kHz or higher, and I hate the web interface lately anyway, so I need some external method. I used to use VLC for this and it worked great, until I started using HTTPS for my site, and now VLC pukes on the DiffieHelman key problem which is well documented, and which VLC doesn't seem to want to fix. If jSub ignores cert stuff, that would be great, even though I have a fully root-signed purchased cert on my SS server.

So yeah, does jSub do FLAC natively or not? If so, high rez too??? Thanks guys. Any other thoughts on external players would be appreciated, just remember everything on my site is in FLAC format, and that's not going to change. Thanks.
Subsonic 5.2.1 on 2009 Apple XServe w/ Yosemite Server 10.10.5; 96GB RAM. Lots of Music - High Rez, native DSD streaming, and otherwise.
