I will gladly take any help with translations you can provide. I removed the French because it was very incomplete. I know a little French but not enough to feel comfortable updating it. I can provide you with the latest English resource files and the old French one if you would like to fill in the gaps.

I do not have any knowledge about android developpement and translation app, so i will work with screenshots and photoshop. I'll send them to you after.

I have two little problems:
- Sometimes the notification icon disappears from the statusbar.
- The song's name would be better for the bottom line. (Hard to read if the album cover is bright)

Please note: the most recent public release of Madsonic only has partial support for genres. It classifies itself as API version 1.9.0, but it is incomplete. In my experience you'll receive the list of genres but they will be all lower case and you will not be able to view songs for the genre.

Another note: The getGenres() API call returns malformed XML (invalid characters are not escaped &,>,<,%). Sindre says this will be fixed in the next release. For the time being, I worked around it. It shouldn't cause any issues, but it might depending on the genre names used. I just didn't want to wait to implement the feature.

The REST API of Madsonic has the same API version as the original subsonic. I merged all commits into the fork for client compatibility.
I've added some new API functions, but does not change existing.

So the problem is in the original, but i can fix and advance the original.

Well with build 4.8.3360, Madsonic has 2 flaws when calling getGenres():

They are all converted to lower case
Malformed XML is returned (for example: <genre>r&b</genre>, should be <genre>r&amp;b</genre>)

In addition, getSongsByGenre() requires the genres to be in their original casing. So fixing getGenres() to return their original casing will solve the problem. Otherwise it appears getSongsByGenre() works ok.

If you can provide me a build which has the issues in getGenres() resolved and I'll be a very happy developer.

I fixed this in the new Dev-Build. The Genre API works now correct, als Genre is now incasesensitive. I test it with your App and works well!

Major release: 1.1.0.5

This release contains a new UI workflow. Screenshots are available on the Play Store. The design is similar to other apps, hopefully it is easy to figure out.

Added pull down to refresh.
Removed navigation buttons on bottom and replaced with new menu on left for navigation and settings. Swipe from the left side of the screen or click the icon in the activity bar to open it.
Now playing indicator on all activities. This gives quick access to play/pause the track. Clicking on the album art takes you directly to the album. Clicking on the notification will take you to the "Now Playing" activity. Swiping down on the notification will hide it until the next playback change. Swiping left/right will go to previous/next track in the playlist. This notification can be disabled in settings.

I noticed the drop down was broken after I released it. Obviously it will be fixed in the next release. I am glad you like it.

I just posted a fixed version to the Play Store (1.1.0.6). Nothing else is new except this fix. Did the Hungarian translation work out for you?

On that note, I'd love to ONLY see the servers I've already added/configured...not vacant 'slots'. Just an opportunity to add a few, or many? more would be sweet!

I have a few bugs I'm taking care of in my next release, but I'll try to add this in the next release or two after.

what client are you referring to archrival Ultrasonic 1.1.0.8 or some other player? cause when i open Ultrasonic i see only 3 server on settings, am i missing something? did i misunderstood something?
