i am fairly new to subsonic, having premium license.
I am searching for a solution (not necessarily subsonic) where multiple users could edit playlist which is playing locally.
What i am aiming for is creation/editing of playlist from multiple users AND controlling the queue/play from multiple users - for needs of a bar.
I though jukebox mode in subsonic is what i need. There are multiple users, i can lock down the access, there are playlists and there is jukebox mode.
Now i am pretty much sad as i realized i need an active connection to subsonic or the music (player) stops playing.
Now, is this by design, are there limitation based on how subsonic is developed or am i missing something?
I really had an impression a jukebox mode is just that - a mode where music is playing locally and continuously (if queue is not empty, and even then it would be nice it doesn't just stop but is smart enough to randomly select new tracks from the library - it is a jukebox
) .So, is something like that possible with subsonic or i should move to some other solutions - which i am yet to discover and would very much appreciate some hints.
I've found volumio and rune (basicly same ancestors) which don't need active connection, music doesn't stop. But are not secure and playlists are miles away from usable.
