I never saw a response that said no.

When I read the fix it said it was reverted back to last. I just assumed there was an older version.

Yes, the image search stopped working. Even when inputting an image URL, it does not work. However, with the Android Dsub app, the images are shown. I realize it sort of makes sense it would work with the app, but thought that tidbit of info might help.

What does images being shown in dSub have anything to do with image search not working? Or am I missing something in dSub that allows me to search for images?

I may not have been as clear as I thought. My bad. Here is what I did:

1. After realizing the search function wasn't working, I found a url for the image and placed it in the url field and saved it.

2. When I used this method in the past, I had to refresh the album page to see the image attached to the album. (As a reminder, I am still in subsonic.) This didn't always work or if it did, I only saw the image when I clicked the album cover and zoomed in, but the colored image placeholder was there in the non-zoom size. I *think* the placeholder was eventually replaced in the non-zoom size. By the way, the album cover image file is shown in the album's folder on my server.

3. Moving to DSub now. I first make sure DSub is online. I then move to the album page of the album cover I just added in subsonic. I refresh the album screen and the cover album image appears. To make sure the album is actually on my phone, I turn DSub to offline, go back to said album screen and it usually is still shown. The reason I go offline is because when you're online, DSub is still showing the album cover that is stored on your server and not necessarily the image saved on the phone. At least, I think that's the logic. As a slight aside, I think I refreshed DSub on the main "all artist" list page, online and then offline, and the said album image was not shown, but I don't recall.

The point in my first post was that the saving the url worked as I saw the image file in the album folder's page on my server. However, the album cover image was not showing in subsonic, but showed in DSub.

This happens to me all the time. It just means your browser has cached the placeholder image, that's all. You won't see the downloaded album cover in non-zoom size until you manually clear your local file cache (via your browser settings).

Is there a fix to this yet? Google image search says no images found which is not true. I put in the direct URL and it says image downloaded successful but it still shows the default cover art. It shows on the mobile app though so it must be the cache issue.

Regardless, shouldn't Google image search work?
