Media not showing on home page

Hello,

I switched back from madsonic to subsonic and went ahead and got a lifetime subscription.. The main issue I'm having is that none of my media shows up on the home page, but it WILL show up on the index page. I primarily use this as a video streaming server for me and a couple of friends but as a test I also threw in a folder of my own music to see if that worked, it did not.. The home page was still blank, it only shows the links along the top for "Random | Recently added | Starred | Top rated | Most played | Recently played | By decade | By genre | All"

So it makes navigating a huge media library very difficult.. When I had multiple folders in there I did see a drop down with those folders listed but again, no media showed.. I did verify users had permission to those folders as well.

Another unrelated thing, since we only use this for video.. it would be nice if there were a place where those features could be disabled :) minor gripe, it just adds more to the screen than there needs to be.. we don't even make use of now playing, so the right pane could go away entirely.

Lastly when I installed using the installation instructions I was getting an error about transcoders not being found ( Windows ) that I never got before when I used Subsconic in the past.. Are they no longer included in the distribution? the instructions made no mention of how to proceed so I went ahead and just downloaded ffmpeg myself which worked.

Otherwise, love it.. just wish we had more power over the interface and features..
